Council of States Lt. General (Staff) Adam Hamid
Musa – affirmed the support of the Council to the
efforts exerted top maintain the Sudan unity and the
performance of the referendum on time as it was
stipulated in the peace agreement (CPA)- in the same
context, and in his meeting with the Minister of
Finance and National Economy, his Excellency, Ali
Mahmoud – he declared the Council adoption of a
comprehensive plan in the North and the South to
support and enhance unity option affirming the
condensed movement of the Council's committees
towards the South to announce the glad tidings of
the unity and warn of the secession threats.
On his part, the
Federal Minister of Finance and the National
Economy, lauded the efforts exerted by the Council
in preserving the states benefits and enhancing the
course of the security and the peace in the Sudan
and affirmed the support of the ministry to the
urgent plan approved by the Council to preserve the
Sudan unity during the upcoming era before the
referendum.
